Sharing your life philosophy
To help celebrate the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s 140th anniversary in 2011-2012, alumni, faculty, staff and students are invited to share their daily life philosophy by writing a personal essay as part of the This We Believe at UW Oshkosh project.
In collaboration with the national “This I Believe” public dialog about belief — based on the popular 1950s radio series of the same name hosted by Edward R. Murrow — members of the University community are encouraged to share 350- to 500-word essays about their personal beliefs and core values. Learn more at www.uwosh.edu/go/believe.
Leading the Alumni Association
The UW Oshkosh Alumni Association Board of Directors elected three new members to join the 24-member volunteer board in its effort to build connections among UW Oshkosh alumni, students, faculty and staff. The new Alumni Board members — Amy Aschenbrenner ’07, of Oshkosh; Sarah Kons ’03, of Sherwood; and Ross Mueller ’93, of Mishicot — begin their terms this fall. View a full board list.
