On Campus: By the numbers

1_i1220UW Oshkosh has 90,000 alumni who live all over the world, including in countries beyond the United States like Japan, Pakistan, Russia, South Korea and Turkey.

UW Oshkosh students can now become Global Scholars, a 12-credit, self-directed path for those who wish to distinguish themselves as emerging global citizens prepared to navigate an increasingly complex and interdependent world. Through Global Scholars, more than 30 course options are offered in seven languages.

UW Oshkosh’s Model United Nations team has taken home the top award at the national conference for 32 consecutive years.

viessman-group_f16Last summer, 20 UW Oshkosh students traveled to Germany for a weeklong seminar about sustainability at the Viessmann Academy. Prior to departure, students participated in classroom instruction and orientation where they learned background information on sustainability, business, and the history, geography and culture of Germany.

In the spring 2016 semester, more than 100 international students were enrolled at UW Oshkosh.

UW Oshkosh is ranked 18th in the country by the Institute of International Education for number of students participating in study abroad.
