During my time at UW Oshkosh, I was blessed to be a part of a very select group of singers on campus, the Chamber Choir. The group met four days a week (for 1 credit!) and blended our voices to make some of the most stunning music I’ve ever heard.
There’s something about using your personal voice, unique from any other voice in the presence of others. It takes trust, humor and support to really let your voice soar. The singers I was fortunate enough to sing with possessed all of these qualities. We laughed, worked, teased and, yes, even cried as we sang. And there was no better group of people to do that all with. I loved everyone I sang with for those wonderful six semesters.
