In serving as the Residence Hall director in Clemans Hall from 1993 to 1999, I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent with students, staff and family members with whom I lived and shared a great life journey. Especially the times when we got to show our pride for UW Oshkosh during Homecoming and Winter Carnival weeks!
The residents of Clemans Hall, myself included, had a deep pride and respect for the building and our community. We always saw each other as family, and to this day, I still keep in contact with many former hall residents and staff members, all of whom share a tremendous pride and love for our Clemans Hall experience.
What we taught to and learned from each other changed the course of our lives. To me, the most important life lessons learned were to cherish friendships, contribute in ongoing and meaningful ways to others, and to always enjoy being a member of the UW Oshkosh community.
